ABOUT

Barbie Mak is an established Hong Kong-based contemporary R&B singer, songwriter, and producer known for her soulful, sultry vocals and a sound that seamlessly blends traditional R&B with ambient and electronic production. Viewing her work as an expression of her "unique soul," Mak’s artistry spans music production, vocal composition, and abstract painting, reflecting a personal journey of self-discovery across genres.

An independent powerhouse, Mak commands a massive global footprint across major streaming platforms, reaching dedicated listeners across key hubs like Singapore, São Paulo, Madrid, and Mexico City. Her discography spans powerhouse labels including Nervous Records NYC, When Stars Align, SOAVE Records, and Sirup Music, alongside chart-topping Beatport releases with producers like DJ Fudge and Viot.

Beyond her own artist releases, Mak has cemented her position as a recognized global vocal brand—securing vocal sync and sample usage associated with major industry giants like Sony Music and Universal Music UK—with her silk-like vocal sample packs on BandLab, Tracklib, and ADSR featured in thousands of tracks worldwide.
